Who We Are

CPC is a Colorado company, located in Littleton, and working in the field of modular biopower since 1999.

We are the world’s leading provider of small modular bioenergy systems.

We are the inventors of a highly efficient downdraft gasifier technology that converts low cost biomass residues into a clean, fuel gas stream that is renewable, much lower cost than fossil fuels, and is greenhouse gas neutral.

We are the developers of a series of fully automatic, mass-producible, modular, biopower systems for the distributed generation market. These include the BioMax® (combined heat and power), Thermal Max™ (100% thermal) and LiquiMax™ (biomass to liquid fuels)

What We Do

As the leading modular bioenergy company we…

  • … Sell commercial modular biopower systems for customers in the distributed generation market.
  • … Provide modular biopower technologies, products and services to Energy Research Institutions.
  • … Design, develop and demonstrate first-of-a-kind biopower technologies and products and validate them in real world environments with like-minded partners.
  • … Develop ways to convert difficult, but abundant, biomass feedstocks into the full range of energy products (heat, power and liquid fuels).

  • … Seek constantly to discover new markets and applications for our modular biopower products.
  • … Improve our products to reduce their capital and operating costs, to maximize their environmental effectiveness, and to make them as user-friendly as possible.
  • … Seek beneficial strategic relationships with partners who can serve large markets for our products

What We've Achieved

  • BM50 shatters its own continuous run record of 14 days by delivering utility-grade three phase power for 732.5 hours during a 745.4 hour (31.1 day) continuous endurance test run.
  • BioMax in CA started up, and operated over the internet from location in MA
  • BioMax 50 received Permit to Operate from Yolo-Solano Air Quality Management District
  • CPC shipped cold-climate 50 kW system to Canadian research organization
  • BioMax producer gas displaces propane in commercial burner
