Overview
Community Power Corporation (CPC) is best known in the renewable energy industry for our pioneering work in village power in developing countries. We are an innovative, market savvy, company that has demonstrated our ability to convert understanding of the distributed energy market to products and services.
For example, in 1999 CPC applied its knowledge of the off-grid rural electrification market to develop a small modular biopower system called the BioMax.
The company has since leveraged its unique knowledge and access to distributed generation markets to position the BioMax as the leading small biopower system in the US. The BioMax is designed to serve combined heat and power markets in both developing and developed countries.
Focus
The company is mainly focused on developed country markets such as those in the US, Europe and Japan. Developing country activities are pursued on an opportunistic basis at this time.
Growth Potential
CPC is developing market-driven, cost-effective small biopower products that can be deployed around the world in large numbers. As we are able to attract growth capital, we intend to use our substantial market understanding and presence to continue to develop new products to meet the needs of distributed energy customers.
